A subsidiary of the Honolulu County Medical Society, Physicians’ Exchange was established in 1978 by members of the medical profession to increase accessibility to their patients.

Physicians’ Exchange of Honolulu, Inc. was established by members of the medical profession to increase the accessibility and availability to their patients and the public. The need for reliable communication capability was recognized as a service not only to the medical professions but to allied health professionals who assist in the health care needs of patients.

Mission

The mission of the Physicians’ Exchange of Honolulu, Inc. is to provide the highest quality telephone answering, paging and general communication services for physicians and their patients.

To link patients and health care facilities with their physicians and allied health professionals for immediate care and/or continued medical follow-up expeditiously and efficiently.
To contact physicians and other subscribers State-Wide as quickly as possible in disaster situations.
